David L. Walker Sr.

David L. Walker, Sr., 66, of Eaton, OH, passed away Thursday, October 4, 2018. Born July 24, 1952, he was one of 7 sons born to the late Emery and Mildred (Vest) Walker. David had worked as a machinist at Schriber Graphics System Services in Dayton for many years. He was a lover of Beatles music, and a collector of Beatles memorabilia. He and his wife Shirley enjoyed landscaping their yard. David loved spending time with his grandchildren, enjoyed golf and fishing, and was fond of his cats Sadie, Penny Lane and Keke. He had attended Community United Methodist Church of Dayton. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother John Walker. Survived by wife Shirley J. (Hollan) Walker, whom he married July 1, 2000; step daughter Renee Snodgrass and husband Ron of Beavercreek; sons David Walker, Jr. and wife Kimberley of Kettering, Daniel Walker and wife Rebecca of Cincinnati, and Ryan Walker of Chicago; grandchildren Alex and Cole Snodgrass, Gavin and Garrett Walker, and Grant and Reagan Walker; brothers Larry Walker and wife Betty Ann, Richard Walker and wife Judy, George Walker and wife Trish, Wayne Walker and wife Kim, and Steve Walker and wife Melody; sister in law Sharon Walker; along with nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Friends may call on the family from 1:00 - 3:00 PM Sunday, October 7, 2018 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria, OH.
