Dave Wilcher

61, of Carlisle, formerly of Germantown, passed away peacefully Thursday, September 8, 2022 with his family by his side.

He was born November 29, 1960 in Dayton to the late Dale and Judy (Johnson) Wilcher.

In addition to his parents, Dave was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Joan Hayslip.

He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Toni Wilcher; daughter, Emily (Andy Knepshield) Wilcher of Nashville, TN; brother, Phil (Teresa) Wilcher of Carlisle; fur baby, Luna; and many nieces and nephews.

Dave loved listening to all kinds of music and was an avid book reader.  He also was an amazing cook who took up the hobby just to have something to do.  For several years, he made sourdough bread to give away.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 14 from 5-7PM at PREBLE MEMORY GARDENS FUNERAL CENTER, 3377 US Route 35 East, West Alexandria.  The service will begin at 7PM with Venerable Thích Phước Trí officiating.
