79, of Springdale, Ohio, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2024.

He was born January 7, 1945, in Hamilton, to the late Earl M. And Edith L. (Wehrle) Cummins.

In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Gustav Rolke Jr., and niece, Lynn Rolke.

He is survived by his sister, Janice Polito; nephews, Jonathan (Heather) Rolke and Scott Polito; grandnieces, Nora and Macy Rolke; beloved feline adventurer's, Isis and Cuddles; and many more family and friends.

Dale had an insatiable love for motorcycles that defined much of his free-spirited nature. When cruising down open roads, the thrill of the ride brought him immense joy. His eyes would light up as he shared tales of his adventures.

Beyond his passion for the open road, Dale had an unyielding passion for his family's ancestry. Together with other family members, he spent countless hours researching and uncovering the rich tapestry of his roots. This shared exploration not only strengthened familial bonds but also provided a lasting legacy for generations to come.

Dale dedicated a significant part of his life to Honeywell, where he worked diligently until his well-deserved retirement. His fondness for the company was evident, and the relationships he built there were a source of pride.

A true patriot, Dale served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. His commitment to duty showcased his selfless nature and love for his country. The values instilled in him during his military service continued to shape his character throughout his life.

Above all, Dale was known for his selflessness, care, and an incredibly big heart. He approached life with a genuine concern for others, always ready to offer support or a comforting word. His kindness touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, February 8 at 2PM at Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery, Green Burial Section, 3377 US Route 35 East, West Alexandria 45381.
