Curtis A Jones

Curtis A. Jones, age 50, of Richmond IN, passed away Thursday afternoon, April 24, 2014. Curtis was born on August 3, 1963, he was a son of Carl Jones and Julia (Thompson) Jones. Curtis had formerly worked as a roofing superintendent in Richmond and Preble County areas. He enjoyed fishing, camping and riding his Yamaha motorcycle. He is preceded in death by wife Kathy M. (Phipps) Jones on November 23, 2010: and sister Shawnitta Adams. Survived by wife Jeanyne (Hutchins) Jones: children Charlton "Rubin" Baker (Anne) of Liberty IN; Joshua L. "Chris" Baker (Samatha Perry) of New Paris OH; Brandy Baker (Jacob Miller) of New Paris; Shawnda Jones (Chester Welz) of New Paris; Brandon "Bubba" Jones (Chelsie) of Camden OH; Echo Jones (Joshua Nicely) of Camden: 15 grandchildren and one on the way: parents Julia Thompson Jones of Eaton OH; Carl Jones of Eaton: brothers and sisters Wayne Jones (Krista) from New Paris; Judy Schaffer of Eaton; Nina Hoff of Camden: along with 12 half sisters and brothers. Friends may call on the family from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM Wednesday , April 30, 2014 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria, OH. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM with Pastor Raymond Rothwell presiding. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
