Cole Brown
72, of Eaton, was called Home by his Lord, Tuesday, July 12, 2022.
He was born May 29, 1950 in Miami Beach, Florida to the late Ronald H. and Marilyn Brown.
In addition to his parents, Cole was preceded in death by his brother, Stanley Brown; and niece, Sawnie Shafer-Kilroy.
He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Terri Brown; children, Billy Duncan, Chris Duncan, and Nick (Nastassia) Brown; grandchild, Grayson Rivers; siblings, Patty Vaughn, Sandy (Bill) Shafer, Rocky Brown, Mike Brown, and Brian (Laura) Brown; numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Cole had been an avid fan of the Cincinnati Reds, enjoyed being out in nature, and fishing at Sycamore State Park with his son, Nick. He loved God with all his heart, had an infectious laugh and when he spoke, you could hear the love in his voice. He was a strong man with a gentle heart and a soft demeanor. He was a man of great feeling and compassion. Cole could never resist a garage sale and loved the flea market on Sundays at the N Dixie drive-in.
Cole was an incredible mechanic in his life, doing everything from fixing cars to diesel trucks to cranes and even building a house. He spent many hours tinkering in garages and shops. Fitting right in with any and all working men, Cole was a go-getter and a hard worker. He was never satisfied with his work until the job was done right.
His interests were many and ranged wildly from cars to old western movies, to fantasy novels and cooking the best baked beans.
More than anything Cole was a family man. He felt most comfortable at gatherings with his brothers and sisters, and at home with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He loved taking his grandson, Grayson, out to see the world. He and Grayson would love gardening together and working in the garage together. The effect they had on each other was beautiful and immediately noticeable.
Cole Brown will be deeply missed by all of us. The way he loved people made the world a better place.
