Clayton Dee Winters

Age 83, of New Lebanon, went to be with the Lord with his family by his side on Tuesday, May 31, 2022. Clayton was born on November 22, 1938, in Medicine Lodge, Kansas, to the late Ralph and Joy (Avis) Winters.

In addition to his parents, Clayton is preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years, Effie Pearl Winters; and brothers, Verdon, Duke, and Delton.

He is survived by his children, Chad, Candace (Jeremy) Hundley; grandson, Aaron (Kassi) Hundley and their beloved son Leo; granddaughter, Kylie (Michael) Roe.

Clayton was a mechanic, tinkerer, craftsman extraordinaire, and a fine companion at dinner time. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held at Preble Memory Gardens Funeral Center on Sunday, June 5, 2022 from 12:00PM to 2:00PM, with services to start at 2:00PM. Burial will follow at Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery. www.rlcfc.com
