Claude Couch

Claude Couch, 75, of Trotwood, OH, passsed away Saturday afternoon, December 27, 2014 at University of Kentucky Hospital Hospice in Lexington, KY. Born December 21, 1939 in Perry County, KY, he was a son of the late Levi & Cora (Logan) Couch. He retired after 27 years as an HVAC Technician with Certified Service of Dayton. In earlier years, he coached softball for 20 years in Trotwood. He was a loving and caring family man. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sisters Evelyn Rice, Edith Trent, Ethel Couch: brothers Lee Couch & wife Joyce, Estil Couch, and Billy Couch. Survived by wife of 52 years Margaret L. (Fetterly) Couch: daughters Donna Crouch & husband Danny of Salt Lick, KY; Carol Couch Schamel & husband Howard, Jr. of Hubert, NC: grandchildren Derrick (Allison) Crouch and Daniel Crouch, Howard Lee (Stefanie) Schamel, III: great grandchildren Bentley Ann Schamel, Daniel, Devon, Brayden, Carter and Bethany Crouch: brothers and sisters Albert (Doris) Couch, Darrel (Debbie) Couch, Doris (late Paul) Daugherty, Wanda (late Luther) Ingram: sister-in-law Phyllis Couch: brothers-in-law James and Roger Fetterly: close friends Medori Martin Patrick and June "Granny" Martin: numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Friends may call on the family from 12:00 - 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria, OH.
