Clara Hickman

Clara L. (King) Hickman, age 71, of West Alexandria, OH, passed away on Monday, August 16, 2010 at Hospice of Dayton. Born February 12, 1939 , she was a daughter of the late John King and Elnora (Bradley) Coldiron. She retired from Stearns after 25 years of service. Clara had also worked for Neaton for 5 years. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and a honorary member of the Blue Star Mothers. She is survived by her husband of 51 years: William Hickman, Sr., daughter: Tammy (Gary) Barnes of Richmond, IN, son: William (Tonya) Hickman, Jr, of Eaton, 4 grandchildren: Spencer Decker, Amber Warner, Billy Smith, Travis Hickman, 2 great grandchildren: Zachary and Max, brothers: John King of TN, Jim (Wanda) King of Trotwood, Randy Coldiron of New Lebanon, Lewis Coldiron of TN, sister: Dora (Gale) Fudge of Dayton, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Thursday, August 19, 2010 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria. Friends may call on the family from 1:00 PM until time of services at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton or the American Cancer Society.
