She helped to put TVS into the modern era with reporting, not only did she use the first word processor in the school system, but piloted the first EMIS data entry and established the process for reporting the the EMIS system to OHIO Department of Education. In addition to secretary,  she was senior class advisor, helped raise money as a band booster, an athletic booster,  helped to prepare many team meals and banquets and devoted her service to the students of TVS.  Charlotte was a high speed typist and helped numerous TVS staff members type their thesis to further their education and earn masters degrees while working for TVS.  The family would note that mom was always quick to say that Tom Isaacs and Paul Erslan were the best administrators in her time serving with the district.

After retirement, Charlotte spent her time with family and loved ones. Up until three weeks before her passing,  she went monthly to lunch with her friends from the West Alexandria Bulldogs class of 1962.  The family thanks Phyllis Miller and her entire class for the encouragement and friendship provided to Charlotte for over fifty years, but more importantly through the difficult times of her battle with cancer in recent months.
