Charlotte L. Combs

Charlotte L. Combs, age 62, of New Lebanon, Ohio, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Wednesday morning, July 22, 2015. Born August 30, 1952, she was a daughter to the late Mitzie Harper (Combs). Charlotte treasured her faith, family and her strong network of friends. Charlotte was a long-time member of First Baptist Church in New Lebanon. She enjoyed arts & crafts, traveling, and social outings with "the girls." She especially enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter, Katelyn, whom she called her "little angel" and was a source of light and joy for her. She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her. Charlotte worked as an office/import manager for 24 years at Imperial Enterprises/United Fireworks and more recently as a billing & collection coordinator at Dayton Water Systems. In addition to her mother, Charlotte is preceded in death by her nephew Benjamin Moore. She is survived by her son Shawn & his wife Clare Combs of Lewis Center, Ohio and grand-daughter Katelyn: brother Michael Moore of Brookville, Ohio: sister Kimberly Dunigan of Brookville, Ohio: niece Rachel Kramer of Jeffersonville, Ohio and nephew Jonathan Moore of West Lafayette, Indiana: as well as many special friends and family. Friends may call on the family from 2:00 - 4:00 pm Sunday, July 26, 2015 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria. An additional hour visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM on Monday July 27, with funeral services to follow at 11:00 AM. Bro.Terry Smith presiding.
