Charles “Chuck” A. Ford
69, of Versailles, went to be with the Lord, Monday, November 18, 2024.
He was born November 16, 1955, in Muncie, Indiana, to the late Charles O. Ford and Wanda W. (Bousman) Roe.
In addition to his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by his best friend and beloved dog, Jessie.
He is survived by his daughters, Lauren (Xander) Crawley and Beth (Eric) Schultz; grandchildren, Logan Schultz, Lindsay (Chandler Sampson) Schultz, and Levi Schultz; great granddaughter, Lilylyn Schultz; brother, Nick Ford; sister, Alberta Ford; special friend, Lila Monse; and former wife, Penny Peters.
Chuck was a man of remarkable skill and an even more remarkable sense of humor. As a talented mechanic, he could fix anything with an engine, turning wrenches into an art form. Whether it was a car, a tractor, or anything else with moving parts, Chuck had a way of bringing things back to life.
When he wasn’t in the garage, Chuck enjoyed playing rummy with friends and family, always making the game as lively as his personality. A true jokester at heart, he had a knack for lightening any room with his quick wit and contagious laughter.
