Charlene E. Taylor, 54, of Eaton, OH, passed away on Monday morning, July 3, 2017. Born February 4, 1963, a daughter of Charles and Louise (Young) Mobley, Sr. She had worked as a bartender, first at The Central House in Eaton, and more recently at the VFW in Eaton. Her family was most important to her and her grandchildren were the light of her life. She loved to play Bingo and Texas Hold-em. Charlene was a member of Eagles #2202 of Eaton and the auxiliary of VFW Post 8066 of Eaton. Survived by her husband Michael L. Taylor, whom she married May 11, 1996; daughter Julia Alexander and husband Damien of Eaton; son Rick Jones and companion Kristi of Eaton; grandchildren D'Shawn Jackson, Kelby Jones, Darien Alexander, Matt Jones, Bryson Alexander and Joselynne Jones; parents Charles and Louise Mobley, Sr. of Eaton; sisters and brother Tina Shaffer and husband David of Eaton, Kathy Schaffer and husband Paul of New Lebanon and Charles Mobley Jr. and wife Cathy of Eaton; along with numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Friends may call on the family from 5:00 - 8:00 PM Monday, July 10, 2017 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria. Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM (Noon) Tuesday at the funeral home with family member Larry Young presiding. The family would greatly appreciate contributions to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses. Burial Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery.
