Charlene "Mama" Studebaker

Charlene "Mama" Studebaker, 89, of Lewisburg, OH, passed into eternity on Thursday morning, June 15, 2017. Born on April 10, 1928, she was the eldest of 13 children born to Earl and Katie (McCarty) Jones. "Mama" was her nickname for many years because of her caring, loving and kind nature. A longtime resident of Lewisburg, she was well known and loved by so many people. Mama was a dear lady who will be missed by all whose lives she touched. In addition to her parents, Charlene is preceded in death by her beloved husband Allen L. "Duff" Studebaker on February 27, 2002, son Chester Bourne, grandson Travis Bourne and 11 brothers and sisters. She is survived by children Larry Bourne of Arcanum, OH; Terry Bourne and wife Yvonne of Arcanum; Pam Studebaker and husband Roger of Nashville, TN; Bonnie Anderson and companion Robert of Jasper, AL; and Carolyn Garner and husband Boyd of Greenville, OH: 13 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 20 great great grandchildren: brother Bob Jones of Middletown, OH; along with many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends may call on the family from 12:00 - 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 E. - West Alexandria, OH.
