Carol A. Reckers

Carol A. Reckers, age 84, of West Alexandria, OH., passed peacefully on Easter Sunday morning. She was born to  Albert and Audrey (Chevalier) Tabben in Covington, KY on May 22, 1938.

Carol was an avid reader and worked as a library assistant at Eaton Library. She was happy watching anything with her family, having family gatherings, and making her Sunday dinners. She loved to cook and was known for her homemade lasagna and her Eclair cake. She enjoyed playing cards, mainly Euchre, and taking girl trips with her highschool friends anywhere. She loved her family and her friends and will be missed by those who knew her.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband; Carl, a brother; Michael, and a sister; Marilyn. She is survived by her loving children; Linda Marker, Laura (Lloyd) Gerhardt, Lisa (Rick) Wackerman and C. Edward Reckers, her grandchildren; Joshua, Rob, Brett, Austion, Daniel (Shari), Scott (Stephanie), Amanda (Adam), Falon (Kurt), Abbi (Cory), and Skylar (Maggie), her great grandchildren; Brandon (Cherise), Leigha, Cameron, Jaxson, Kynlee, Brogan, Lincoln, Daelon, Dylan, Elijah, Elli, Emmalynn, Joslynn, Jace, Gavin, Maddox, Nora, Weston, Mosley, Conley and Ruby, along with her sweet great great granddaughter; Ella, and several siblings; Jeanette, Larry, Paul, and Rich, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Friday, April 14, 2023 at Preble Memory Gardens Funeral Center from 12:00PM until time of service at 2:00PM.
