Carlyle Grill

Carlyle J. Grill, age 70, of Eaton, OH, died suddenly on Monday evening, April 11, 2011. Born August 29, 1940 in Lewisburg, OH to the late Edward E. & Marguerite (Seim) Grill. For the last 10 years he worked in the Maintenance Department of Wal-Mart; first in Greenville, then in Eaton. He retired after 29 years with Browning distribution in Eaton; and earlier in life worked as a barber in Lewisburg. He served as a medic with the US Army Reserve from 1964 - 1971. A member of the Lutheran Church and became a Kentucky Colonel in 2004. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by grandson Timothy Blake Grill in November, 2002. Survived by wife Patricia A. (Kinder) Grill whom he married September 2, 1965: son Tim Grill & wife Terri of New Lebanon: grandchildren Sarah and Brian St. John, Brad Young, Adam Shiflett, Carl, Brittany, Josh and Kayla Grill: 6 great grandchildren. Friends may call on the family from 5:00 - 7:00 PM Friday, April 15, 2011 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria.
