Brenda Joyce Westfall

Brenda Joyce Westfall, 76, of New Lebanon, OH, passed away suddenly on Monday, December 2, 2019. Born June 24, 1943 in Premium, KY (Hot Spot), Letcher County, she was the youngest of 13 children born to the now late Charles and Atha (Collier) Miles. She was a 1961 graduate of Whitesburg, KY High School. After graduation, she moved to Ohio and worked 20 years at Dayton Press (McCalls). She then worked at Green Tokai in Brookville beginning in 1981 and retiring in 2008 after 27 years. Brenda loved reading books and had several favorite authors. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters. Survived by son Gregory L. Miles and wife Darlene of New Lebanon; grandson Gregory Miles of Columbus, OH, serving with the US Army; granddaughter Paige Weimer and husband Jared of Lebanon, OH (Army National Guard and US Army); grandson Jonah Lynn Weimer; brother Roger Miles and wife Patricia of KY; numerous nieces and nephews; along with her beloved and very spoiled dog Gracie. Friends may call on the family from 12:00 - 2:00 PM Friday, December 6, 2019 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria, OH. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM and conclude with burial near family at Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery.
