Brenda K. Mitchell

Brenda Mitchell, age 72, of New Lebanon, OH., passed away Sunday, January 29, 2023 in Dayton, OH. She was born July 30, 1950 to the late John P. and Arlie Barnes (Vaughn). She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Herbert G. Mitchell; children Andrew G. Mitchell, Matthew S. Mitchell (Amy); grandchildren Ravi Chandra (aka Wyatt) and Judith; siblings David L. Barnes, Douglas P. Barnes (Brenda), and Carol A. Barnes, along with many more family and friends.

Brenda was a faithful member of Farmersville First Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She also enjoyed volunteering at the Church's food pantry and participating in her neighborhood Bible study, God's Gals. The family would like to extend a special Thank You to the nurses and staff at Hospice of Dayton for the wonderful care she received both at home and at their facility in the months and days prior to her passing.

A Visitation will be held for Brenda at Preble Memory Gardens Funeral Center on Friday, February 3, 2023 from 2:00PM to 3:00PM, with a Memorial Service promptly following at 3:00PM with Pastor Dustin Voris officiating. For condolences please visit; www.rlcfc.com
