Bonnie J. Mowen

Bonnie J. Mowen, 82, of Eaton, OH, passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018. Born June 23, 1935 in Eaton, she was the daughter of the late John J. Stover, Sr. and Mildred L. (Snyder) Stover. Bonnie was a 1953 graduate of Eaton High School, had worked several years at Johnson Chevrolet in Eaton and then 31 years in administration with the Preble County Sheriff's Office. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband Marvin L. Mowen on May 20, 2002, son Kevin L. Mowen in 1957, daughter Joye E. Galey in 2009, son-in-law Michael Porter, and brother James C. Stover, Sr. She is survived by daughter Janie Sue Porter of Eaton; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; brother John J. Stover, Jr. and sister Grace Davis both of Eaton. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Friday, April 27, 2018 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria. Friends may call on the family from 5:00 - 8:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
