Bobby Souers,

Bobby C. Souers, Sr., 77 of Gratis, Twp, Preble County, OH, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, March 14, 2013. Born in Frenchburg, KY, he was the son of the late Sennica E. & Irene F. (Hughes) Souers. He served with the US Navy from 1954 - 1958 and an additional 8 years as a Naval Reservist. He retired after 33 years from Armco Steel in Middletown, OH and was a master mason with the Jefferson Lodge F & AM in Middletown. A master craftsman and mechanic, his passion was motorcycles. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by grandson Rob Ashman: niece Deanna Estridge: and father-in-law & mother-in-law Wilbur & Talena Partee. Survived by wife of 56 years Carol Ann (Partee) Souers: children Kim Coffey & husband Mike of Eaton, OH; Bobby Charles Souers, Jr. & wife Jenny of Eminence, KY; Elisa Roberts & husband Gregory of Georgetown, TX; and Steven Souers & wife Lisa of Gratis, Twp.: grandchildren Carol Ann, David, Jessica, Lexington, Lindsay, Cody, Mallory, Mitchell, Courtney and Hannah: great grandchildren Dustin, Michael, Brenda, Brice, Dane, Samantha, Levi, Reid, Callan and Maddux: sister Carol June Tibbits & husband Al of Middletown: special friends Cledith & Bob Barnes.
