Bobby Harvey,

Bobby Dean Harvey, Sr., age 74, of West Alexandria, OH, went to be with the Lord on Thursday evening, April 21, 2011 at Hospice of Dayton. Born July 3, 1936 in Hotspot, Ky, he was the son of the late Robert & Erie (Whitaker) Harvey. He retired after 32 years from the Inland Division of General Motors, Third Street Plant. He was a loving and caring Christian man who knew and lived the Word of God. An outdoorsman, he loved hunting, fishing and gardening. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by great grandson Alec Michael Harvey. Survived by wife Jenny Sue (Miles) Harvey whom he married November 9, 1953; and again as they renewed their vows on their 50th wedding anniversary in 2003: children Bobby Dean Harvey, Jr. & wife Joy of Richmond, IN; and Deborah J. Kenyon & husband Vince of Germantown, OH: grandchildren Richard J. Smith, Jr. Charles Jason Harvey, Deena Christine Smith and Jennifer Nicole Fisk: great grandchildren Ashley D. and Cody J. Smith; Megan D. and Dustyn R. Johnson; Cole, Bret J. and Matthew Dean Harvey; Tyra and Tammy Brown: and 1 great great grandson on the way. Friends may call on the family from 2:00 - 4:00 PM Sunday at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday at the Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Vorhis presiding. Interment Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery.
