Bill Shindeldecker

Bill Shindeldecker , 65, of West Alexandria, OH, passed away suddenly on Sunday morning, January 19, 2014 at his residence. Bill was a son of the late Carl & Verna (Glentzer) Shindeldecker. Along with his brothers, Bill was a partner in C.A. Shindeldecker & Sons Construction Company in West Alexandria. He was a Master Mason and Past Master with King Hiram Masonic Lodge and Past Worthy Patron of The Gleenors Chapter of O.E.S. both of West Alexandria. He especially enjoyed running the bulldozer and loved buying, fixing, trading and selling Fords. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers Ansil, Roscoe, Merrel and Kenneth Shindeldecker: and sister Betty Carlgren. Survived by wife Beverly K. (Deaton) Shindeldecker whom he married April 15, 2000: son Jesse Simpson of West Alexandria: grandchildren Liam, Roman, Kyla, Emma and Mya: brother Robert & Kim Shindeldecker of West Alexandria: sisters Edie Miller of Mendon, OH; Becky & Mike Woebkenberg of West Alexandria: nephews and nieces Steve, David, Robert, II, Heather and John Shindeldecker, Vicky Millage, Dennis, Chris and Lynn Miller: brothers-in-law Roger & Peggy Deaton; Gary & Brenda Deaton, Chris and Jantzen Deaton, and Mike & Brenda Deaton: and numerous other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, January 25, 2014 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria. Pastor Doug Bottles presiding.
