Betty Jean Stover

Betty J. (Wright) Stover, age 93 of Eaton, OH, passed away peacefully at home with family Friday evening June 24, 2022.

Born June 23, 1929 in Montgomery County, to late Bernard Wright & Eva (Curtner) Zolman.

When visiting Grandma Betty you could always expect a warm smile, the best cup of coffee, a cookie, and a story about traveling to Arizona or American history. Her always working a puzzle or knitting something for one of the grandchildren. You could never leave without a hug and a kiss. Eternally now with the Lord and Grandpa Jim.

She’s preceded in death by her beloved husband James C. Stover, whom she married in 1948. Her son James R. Stover & wife Phyllis, sister-in-law Bonnie (Stover) Mowen & husband Marvin, niece Joy Galey. Grandson James Robert Stover, granddaughter Melanie Ann Stover, sister-in-law Janet (Cruze) Stover, son-in-law James McMurray, & brother-in-law Tyler Davis.

She is survived by her daughter Belinda J. (Stover) McMurray, brother-in-law John J. Stover, sister-in-law Grace (Stover) Davis, daughter-in-law Peggy (Stover) Klinger, granddaughters Laura (Stover) Burgess, Brandy (Chad) Miller, grandsons James (Angela) Parker, Andrew (Vicki) Parker, William Parker, Beth (Brad) Brown, and many numerous great grandchildren, nieces & nephews.

A visitation will be held at 3:00pm - 4:00PM, with Funeral starting at 4:00PM Tuesday, July, 5th at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria, OH. Family may gather earlier at 2:30 if desired.
