Betty J. Clark

Betty J. Clark, age 91 formerly of Dayton, OH, Eaton, OH and Richmond, IN passed away early Saturday morning, April 26, 2014 at Liberty Retirement Community in Centerville, OH. Born November 30, 1922 in Dunreith, IN, she was a daughter of the late Ed & Edith (Rhoades) Harter. She formerly worked as a sales clerk for J.C. Penney and Rike's Department Stores at the Dayton Mall. Betty was a member of Iona Chapter 5 of the Order of Eastern Star in New Paris, OH; a member of the Presbyterian Church in New Paris and the Church of the Brethren in Eaton. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death on March 12, 2003 by husband Perry O. Clark, Sr.: son Royal I. Clark in 2008: 12 brothers and sisters. Survived by children Nancy Sliver & husband Ed of Casa Grande, AZ; Perry O. Clark, Jr. & wife Rebecca of Jackson, MI; and Betsy Eardly of Miamisburg, OH: 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, May 1, 2014 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria, OH.
