Barbara B. Whitaker

Barbara B. Whitaker, 78, of Jefferson Township, Dayton, passed away Tuesday afternoon, May 9, 2017 at her home. Born July 19, 1938 in Floyd County, KY, she was a daughter of the late Alvin and Sadie (Casebolt) Tackett. She and her husband Willis were the owners of Whitaker Chain Link Fence Company of Dayton for 12 years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Willis Whitaker in 1986; sister Carmella and brother Alvin Tackett Survived by daughter and son-in-law Patricia and Andrew Brown of Arizona; sister Betty Caudill of Hillsboro, OH; brothers Virgil Tackett of Hillsboro and Alton Tackett of Texas; special friends Thomas Calhoun of Greenfield, OH and Gale Kilbarger of Dayton. Friends may call from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Monday, May 15, 2017 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria.
