Barbara L. Plantz

Barbara L. Plantz, age 86 of Dayton, Ohio passed away peacefully Tuesday March 1, 2017 at the Oaks of West Kettering nursing home. Born February 19, 1931 In West Virginia, she was a daughter to the late George & Lily (Smith) Lamb. Barbara was a graduate of Fairborn Baker High School, and went on to work at True Photo for over 31 years as a film developer. She enjoyed camping, reading, listening to gospel music, and spending time with her family. She will be truly missed. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband Alfred G. Plantz and siblings Scott, June and JoAnn. Barbara is survived by her children Glen & Laura Plantz of Riverside, OH; Steve & Jeaine Plantz of Dayton; Randy & Diana Plantz of New Carlisle, OH; Rick Plantz of Dayton; Greg & Carol Plantz of Dayton: 11 grandchildren : many great-grandchildren: 1 great-great grandchild: brother Richard & Donna Lamb of Fairborn, OH: special friends Carol and Trudy: her furry cat companion "Donna": as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
