Barbara A. Groves

Barbara A. Groves, 75, of Eaton, OH, went home to be with the Lord on Monday evening November 24, 2014. Born February 4, 1939 in Eaton, OH, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth & Carolyn (Winters) Trunck. Barbara was a member of the Higher Heights Church of God in Camden, OH. She and her husband were foster parents for 18 years and she served as a 4 H leader of the Competitors Horse Club for several years in the 1980's. Many years ago, she worked at Westvaco in Eaton and in the 1990's worked in the Deli and Cheese Departments at Marsh Grocery Store in Eaton. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband John Groves in 1988: son Bradford L. Groves in 2007: and brothers Tom and Joe Trunck. Barbara is survived by daughter and son-in-law Nona & Marvin Hocker of Camden: grandsons Jonathon and Daniel Groves whom she helped to raise: brother John Trunck and sister Sheila Aukerman. A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm Monday, December 1, 2014 at the Higher Heights Church of God - 8111 US Rt. 127 N. - Camden, OH. Pastor and son-in-law Marvin Hocker will officiate.
