Audra Castle, 82, of Eaton, OH, passed away Friday evening, August 29, 2014 at Hospice of Dayton. Born February 11, 1932 in Nickell, KY, he was a son of the late Edward & Hazel (Nickell) Castle. Mr. Castle served with the US Army from 1953 - 1955 in Germany during the Korean War. He retired after 36 years as a cement mixer truck driver having worked for Mormon Sand and Gravel and Moraine Concrete. He was a longtime faithful member of the Hillcrest Baptist Church in Carlisle, OH. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother Julian Edward Castle and sister Ann Holder. Survived by wife of 59 years Ruth (Meek) Castle, whom he married July 23, 1955: daughter Virginia Lovely & husband Tim of West Alexandria, OH: step daughter Phyllis Scholl & husband Joe of Carlisle, OH: granddaughter Becky Lovely Thompson & husband Doug of New Lebanon, OH: brother Custer Castle of Florida and sister Debbie Weinmann of North Carolina. Friends may call on the family from 10:00 am - 11:00 am Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at the Hillcrest Baptist Church - 820 Central Ave. - Carlisle, OH. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 am with Pastor Larry Lambes presiding. Arrangements entrusted to the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens, West Alexandria.
