Artis M. Rogers

Artis M. Rogers age 78 of Eaton, Ohio passed away September 18, 2016 at Grandview Hosptial. Born April 1, 1938 she was a daughter to the late Ben & Flora (Winsted) Harbaum. She was a member of Eaton Baptist Temple. Artis loved gardening, flowers and traveling to Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg, TN. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by husband Herbert Rogers, whom she married in 1954: daughters Zelda & Lora: brothers Robert & Lloyd. Survived by daughters Jennifer (Ed) Martin of Eaton; Adena Rogers of Eaton; Lena Slater of Eaton: son Lonnie (Nancy) Rogers of Hamilton, OH: grandchildren James, Ciara & Joshua Martin; Andrew Schutte; Megan Schutte; Christopher Gregory; CJ Slater; Shana Slater; Cyndi Schutte; Christina Schuttte-Mitchell; Joe, Ben & Justin Rogers; Tara Nitz; Matthew Brown; Adrianna Hannah: 18 great- grandchildren: sisters Stella Marcum of Eaton; Betty (Joe) Taylor of Eaton; Etta (Mike) Flack of Eaton; Goldie McDaniel of Alabama: Pam (Ray) Worley of Eaton: sister-in-law Jenneva Harbaum of Eaton: special nephew Gary James Marcum: as well an numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM Saturday October 8, 2016 at Covenant of Peace Church - 4745 State Route 127 North, Eaton Ohio 45320- Pastor Kenneth Harbaum presiding.
