Arthur Thomas Morton

Arthur Thomas Morton, Sr., age 81 of Dayton, OH, passed away peacefully Tuesday night, November 5, 2013 at Hospice of Dayton following a lengthy illness. Born in Dayton, he was a son of the late Orin E. & Bessie E. (Leatherman) Morton. Tom proudly served in Germany with the US Army from 1953 - 1955. He retired from NCR in Dayton. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers James, John and William Morton. Survived by son Arthur Thomas Morton, Jr. of Dayton; daughter Pamela Knife; grandchildren Brandon Thomas Morton, Andrew Knife, Lillian Knife, Hannah Robbins and Robert Knife; sister Ella Mae O'Connell; brother Robert Morton; special friend and caregiver Tim LaSelle of Dayton and special friends Mark and Mary Harwood of Centerville. Friends may call on the family from 10:00 am - 11:00 am Saturday, November 9, 2013 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria, OH.
