Arch McIntosh, Jr., age 82, of Farmersville, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday morning, September 13, 2013. Born in Canoe, KY, he was a son of the late Arch & Stella (Turner) McIntosh, Sr. He proudly served with the U.S. Army in the Korean War and also served in General Eisenhower's Honor Guard. Arch retired after 32 years from Harrison Radiator-Division of GM. A member of the Twin Valley Rod & Gun Club, he enjoyed participating in turkey shoots and poker games. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 5 brothers and 1 sister. Survived by wife Laura (Stacy) McIntosh whom he married June 1, 1947: daughter Marilyn Haas & husband Micheal of Farmersville: son Larry McIntosh & wife Ronda of Farmersville: and grandsons Matthew and Evan McIntosh of Farmersville: dear friend Earshel Philpot, Doc and numerous other poker buddies. Friends may call on the family from 12:00 - 2:00 pm Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria, OH.
