Anthony Alan Armstrong

Anthony A. Armstrong, 29, of Lewisburg, OH, passed suddenly on Saturday afternoon, March 11, 2017.Born February 6, 1988, he was a son of Evelyn Elizabeth (Aber) Strong and Byron Eugene Armstrong. Anthony was a graduate of Twin Valley South High School, Bowling Green State University, and Indiana University East. He worked as a Special Education Teacher at Test Middle School in Richmond, IN. A devoted father who loved spending time with his family, he coached the kids sporting activities and also served as coach for the 7th grade Boys Basketball program at Test School. He was a faithful member of Community of Faith Church in Lewisburg, and while attending Bowling Green, was a member of SIC-SIC. Anthony is survived by wife Falon L. (Reckers) Armstrong, whom he married October 8, 2010; children Gavin Reid Armstrong, Maddux Nathaniel Armstrong and Nora Elaine Armstrong; mother Evelyn Strong of West Alexandria; father Byron Eugene Armstrong of Brookville; sisters and brother Patricia L. Gisiger and husband Jim of Sarasota, FL, Emily Marie Eisen and husband Brad of Springfield, and Nathaniel C. Armstrong and wife Josie of Beavercreek; maternal grandparents Ken and Karen Aber of Hamilton; and paternal grandmother Amelia Armstrong of Brookville. Friends may call on the family from 2:00 - 6:00 PM Friday, March 17 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the Community of Faith Church - 400 N. Commerce St. - Lewisburg, with Pastor Justin Weigand presiding. Parking for the Memorial Service is only available at Tri-County North School parking lot, just north of the Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Falon to help with the family's expenses.
