Anita C. (Robbins) Kouts
70, of West Alexandria, entered into eternal rest, Saturday, August 12, 2023.
She was born March 28, 1953, in Rock Castle County, Kentucky to Paul and Viola (Brown) Robbins.
She was preceded in death by her dad, Paul.
Anita is survived by her mom, Viola; daughters, Angela (Don) Cox, Kyra (Jamie) Diehl, Tawny (Aaron) Cooper, and Lauren (Jim) Hilt; 18 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Faye (Terry) Smith and Charlotte (Steve) Frederick; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Anita dedicated over three decades of her life to the noble profession of nursing, touching the lives of countless individuals with her unwavering care. Beyond her nursing career, Anita was an artist at heart. With a paintbrush in hand, she would transform blank canvases into masterpieces that revealed her inner world and emotions. Crafting was another avenue through which Anita expressed her ingenuity and artistic flair. From intricate handcrafted pieces to imaginative DIY projects, her creations were a reflection of her imaginative spirit and attention to detail. Anita's love for reading was boundless, and she could often be found lost in the pages of a captivating book.
But perhaps Anita's greatest source of joy came from spending time with her beloved grandkids and great-grandkids. Their laughter and presence lit up her world, and she cherished every moment shared with them. From heartwarming stories to playful adventures, Anita's bond with her grandkids and great-grandkids was truly special and will forever be treasured.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of West Alexandria, the Coterie Club of West Alexandria, and the Red Hat Society.
A visitation will be held Thursday, August 17 from 5-7PM at First Baptist Church of West Alexandria, 6062 Ivy Lane, West Alexandria 45381. The funeral service will begin at 1PM on Friday, August 18 at the church with Pastor Jerry Carter officiating. Burial will follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery, West Alexandria.
