27, of West  Alexandria, OH passed away unexpectedly on January 4th, 2024.
Alyssa was born on October 18, 1996 in Dayton, OH to her parents Jonathan Summers and Jennifer Black.

She was a 2015 graduate of Twin Valley South where she ran track and exceeded at her academics. She had a driven soul, and excelled in everything she put her mind too. She grew into leadership positions in all of her workplaces. She had many talents and a love for Jesus and serving others. Besides her interests and hobbies, her greatest joy in life was her son Lincoln, who was the center of her universe. Her unwavering love and dedication to him was evident in every aspect of her life. Alyssa will not only be remembered in the accomplishments she achieved but in the hearts she touched. Her generosity, inclusivity, and genuine concern for others ensuring that everyone felt loved and valued in her presence. She will be deeply missed and remembered as the free spirited, loving, funny, mother, daughter, sister, and friend as a positive force of life that burned brightly and left an incredible mark in this world.

Alyssa is preceded in death by her sweet and beautiful son; Lincoln, cousin; Zachary, Grandparents; Ronald Summers, Nathan Combs Jr., Richard Kilmer, Bernice Johnson, Cynthia Combs, and Helen Hamm.

Alyssa is survived by her loving parents, Jonathan Summers and Jennifer (John) Black, siblings, Ashley, Alexis, Cole, and Nathan, her nieces and nephews; Ayden, Hailee, Scarlett, and Troy, her Nanny; Anita Summers, and great grandma; Hazel Kilmer, along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held at Preble Memory Gardens Funeral Center on Wednesday, January 10th, 2024, from 11:00AM to 1:00PM. A funeral will be held promptly at 1:00PM at Preble Memory Gardens with Pastor Ken Harbaum officiating. Burial will follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations please be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
