Albert Lee Murphy

Albert L. MURPHY age 83, of Germantown, Ohio passed away in the early morning on Friday August 7, 2015 at Astoria Nursing Home in Germantown. Born on December 20, 1931 he was a son to the late Charlie and "Nannie Lee" (Hudson) Murphy in Ezel, KY. Albert worked as an Electronic Technician for NCR for 37 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army, enjoyed restoring antique cars with his son, and gardening. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of almost 60 years, Betty J. Murphy in 2014, and his sister Ima Jean Sexton. He is survived by his son J. Brian and wife Carri Lee Murphy of Germantown: grandchildren Brandy and Bill Bicknell of New Lebanon, OH; Heather and Jake Laino of New Lebanon; Courtney Logan Murphy of Germantown; Jimmy B. Murphy of Germantown: great-grandchildren Katherine Bicknell, Suzie Bicknell, Orianna Laino and Olivia Laino: brothers Jim and wife Dimple Murphy of Shelbyville, IN; Irvin and wife Reva Murphy of Ezel, KY and brother-in-law Tom and wife Shirley Sexton of Ezel. Friends may call on the family Saturday August 8, 2015 from 4:00- 7:00 PM at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center - 3377 US RT 35, West Alexandria, OH- Burial in Ezel, KY on Sunday August 9, 2015 at 2:00 PM. Pastor Mike Sexton presiding the graveside service.
